DVV is Rajamouli's production home. RRR won the Oscar for Naatu Naatu — first Indian film to do so — and grossed ₹1,200+ Cr WW, placing it among the top 5 Indian films ever. One film every 5–7 years but each redefines Indian cinema: Baahubali set the scale template, RRR set the global crossover template. Rajamouli is currently in pre-production mode with no announced project — his next announcement is the single most anticipated development in South Indian cinema. Jr NTR (his RRR lead) is completing Dragon (Mythri/Prashanth Neel) before further commitments. Ram Charan is completing Peddi (Buchi Babu, Mythri, 2027). An RRR sequel or new Rajamouli film is not imminent before 2028 at earliest.
