AGS has been Thalapathy Vijay's most consistent production partner through five consecutive releases. Master (₹284 Cr WW during COVID at reduced capacity) was extraordinary logistics and faith. GOAT (2025) at ₹490 Cr WW is the biggest Tamil film of that year and almost certainly Vijay's last AGS production — he announced his entry into politics (Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam party) and is contesting Tamil Nadu assembly elections in May 2026. His final film Jana Nayagan is a KVN Productions project, not AGS. If Vijay returns to films post-politics, AGS would be the first call he makes — but the earliest realistic window is 2028.
Boxoffy Note
Jana Nayagan (Vijay's final film) is a KVN Productions project — not an AGS production. Vijay deliberately chose a different production house for his farewell film. AGS's Vijay slate effectively ended with GOAT (2025). Future Vijay 69 speculation is post-politics, not imminent.
